Wilton Rancheria, alongside Boyd Gaming Corporation, has unveiled ambitious expansion blueprints for the Sky River Casino in California, inaugurated in August 2022. The enhancements promise a gaming floor that sprawls into new dimensions, a High-Limit sanctuary, and the debut of a 300-room opulent hotel. Not stopping there, a lavish spa, an inviting outdoor pool, and a versatile event space are slated for realization across two meticulous construction phases.
Anticipated completion of the initial phase is earmarked for the summer of 2025, with the sequel expected to wrap up by early 2027.
Jesus Tarango, Chairman of Wilton Rancheria, expressed immense pride in the evolving landscape of Sky River Casino, envisioning an even brighter horizon for the Elk Grove community, the wider Sacramento domain, and the enduring legacy of the Wilton Rancheria people, the sole federally recognized Tribe in Sacramento County.
Tarango conveyed gratitude to the Tribal Elders and constituents for their unwavering backing. Equally, heartfelt appreciation extended to the City of Elk Grove, Sacramento County, and state stakeholders, whose support has been instrumental. The warm reception from the Northern California community was also acknowledged with sincere appreciation.
Michael J. Facenda, President of Sky River Casino, highlighted the expansion as a transformative leap towards redefining gaming excellence not only within Sacramento but across Northern California and beyond. Envisioning a distinguished destination, Facenda foresees an influx of guests seeking elevated encounters marked by vibrant gaming, captivating entertainment, exquisite dining offerings, deluxe accommodations, and serene retreats.
